Making quizzes just keeps getting easier and more fun. studiyo has a great interface that lets you create multiple choice quizzes and easily embed them in your blog or other web page. Quizzes can include images, video, and text. Other options include: choice of layout, addition of your own logo, feedback from users, different endings depending on scores and the option to let users add their own questions.

Rockin' the house
Jenny Levine and Aaron Schmidt put on a great night of gaming at the Computers in Libraries 2008 conference. What a great way to start the conference. There were wii’s and ddr and guitar hero and board games and card games and lots of tun and laughter. I tried my hand at Brain Age on a nintendo ds. Wasn’t feeling energetic enough for ddr. Well my brain wasn’t up to much on brain age either. 3 of us were trying it out and collectively we came up with an F+! Not sure what our brain age really was, but I think we need to do some homework!

Give Away of the Day’s game for the day is Bookstories, a nice little word search program with cute graphics and a variety of playing levels. And it comes complete with a librarian??? If you’re a word search fan, it’s worth downloading. Installs easily. Free till midnight PST March 22.

My only objection? Inclusion of “astrologer” in the Astronomy puzzle. Astrology ain’t astronomy, no way, no how! :-)
