Tech Camp Survivors!
Another wonderful group of school librarians got together for a “2.0 Tech Camp” this weekend. This session was a bit shorter than the two held over the summer. Still, we covered a lot of territory and everyone left with plans to put one or more of the tools to work. (more…)

Training day at SALS
They paid me to play with flickr! Can’t beat that!

The Southern Adirondack Library System is sponsoring a series of Library 2.0 workshops for their member libraries. And once a month, they hold a DIY workshop day. Staff can drop in and get some help with their blogs, wikis, flickr, web sites, whatever.

Today we fixed some broken blogs and played with flickr. A good time was had by all!

Strategies for integration into the curriculum will be offered and shared. Topics covered may include, blogs and wikis, tagging, de.lic.ious, ning and Flickr.”
